Relaxing on the Axis
Curiosity
I think that out of a compulsion to find rich and strange things I end up coming close to killing the proverbial cat. I guess I wouldn’t have it any other way, sadly.
In other news, Nine Inch Nails made 1.25 of their recent recordings available for free online. “Slip” reminds me why I never liked them when I was growing up. On the other hand, the first nine tracks from “Ghosts I-IV” are sweet little texture pieces; minimally invasive sound installations. A far cry from Industrial Rock, some of the tracks smell strongly of Satie.
Also, Merewitz tells me he can’t get any writers interested in contributing to the “Hipsters Hate Jazz” blog or whatever it’s called. Tells me we need to reconfigure the premise so that it takes a more educated standpoint. No problem, I know there’s an argument somewhere in my drift of disjunct and dishevelled thoughts.
