Sunny Day, Sweeping the Clouds Away

I spent a day and a half in Williamsburg, and although I had many striking experiences, the most striking was that the neighborhood seemed to be radiating the theme song from Sesame Street. As we walked down Bedford and popped into bars and cafes to learn the word of the day, we happened upon all sorts of benevolent (but somewhat frightening) characters. Words can be important, but not all of them are meant to be kept. Speckled with hipsters and Hasids, the avenue was A-OK, and I had fun and learned a lot simultaneously.
